VISION
The Texas Dental Industry Association supports
the dental assistant and related profession through advocating
educational standards consistent from one educational provider to
another. TDIA believes the
vast array of educational programs available for dental assistants as
counter-productive to the allied dental industry.
This serves to produce varying levels of credentials carried by
active dental assistant personnel.
TDIA envisions a day when all programs will be accredited and
therefore standard across the state.
We believe that seeing this vision to fruition is a worthwhile
and on-going project. In
the end we hope to see allied oral health professionals (dental
assistants) committed to the profession, patients and the public, all
educated under exact accreditation programs.
